Working With Parents to Improve Numeracy

At Boyanup Primary School all staff continuously strive to improve the numeracy standards of students. Parents play a key role in developing numeracy skills.

Numeracy helps us to use mathematics effectively to meet the general demands of everyday life, at home, work and in society. Children develop their numeracy skills when they use mathematics in their daily activities and ask questions to make sense of their everyday life.
