Principals Welcome
I am proud to welcome you to Boyanup Primary School.
Our school has a rich history within our local community, and we work hard to equip our students with the skills, knowledge and understanding they need for their futures to maintain and extend this vibrant community.
The staff at Boyanup Primary School work together as a team to ensure that students feel strongly that they belong here and are celebrated for their character as well as their academic and sporting successes.
The school has strong foundations in our English and Maths programs and specialised subjects. It is important to our community that we also offer our students many other experiences.
These learning experiences allow our students of all ages to engage with one another, the community and to grow together with shared experiences.
Some of these experiences this year include:
- Year 5/6 camp
- Sorry Day and Reconciliation week
- Working alongside the Progress Association in the Community Garden
- Wattle Division sports carnivals
- The Southwest Spelling Bee
- The Robotics competition
- Book week including our fabulous parade and Bookfair
- Year 5/6 Writing Workshop by a published author
- Harmony Day whole school and school community picnic
- Entertainment for CWA Christmas lunch for seniors by our students
- Open Night
- PEAC
- Soapbox Cometition for years 3-6
- Composting and Recycling workshops led by the Shire of Capel
- Participation in the Shire of Capel Youth consultation project
